State of NY invests in Salt Marsh Restoration

The State of New York is providing $645k to local organizations who will restore 28 acres of marshland in Jamaica Bay.  Governor Cuomo seeks to reduce the impact of storm surges, noting "Green infrastructure projects such as this one should be an integral part of rebuilding and making New York more resilient for the future.”  Read more here
