<image:title>Portfolio - Catholic Charities: Microgrid Master Plan</image:title>
<image:caption>Catholic Charities of Brooklyn + Queens (CCPOPD) engaged Crauderueff & Associates to develop a plan for advancing solar PV and battery storage on its 27-building portfolio of multifamily senior and affordable housing. They sought to utilize the income from solar projects to create a revolving fund for additional green improvements through its special purpose non-profit, Laudato Si. C&A developed concept designs, advised on site selection, conducted a comprehensive review of financing options, and compared multiple financing scenarios using proprietary models. Upon passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, C&A worked with Catholic Charities’ tax and legal professionals to identify a strategy that may allow CCPOPD to access 50% Federal Solar Investment Tax Credits, optimize use of state incentives, and draw a development fee. C&A also developed a list of priority sites for battery storage to achieve climate resiliency in the event of a power outage, estimated costs, modeled revenues, and identified funding sources to implement a pilot project.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - Radson Development: Solar Canopy Retrofits</image:title>
<image:caption>Radson Development, a for-profit affordable housing provider, engaged Crauderueff to design and implement solar projects across seven multifamily buildings and a parking lot. The initiative aims to lower operating costs, improve sustainability, and take full advantage of available solar incentives. We performed detailed feasibility analyses and financial modeling to determine the most effective approach for solar integration, which entails rooftop canopies for all seven sites. We also are providing full engineering of the solar PV systems. Through the 2024 competitive Federal program, the team successfully secured seven 20% bonus tax credits, maximizing financial benefits for the project. The project is in design development. Construction is set to begin in early 2026.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - Sisters of Charity: Staten Island Community Solar</image:title>
<image:caption>Crauderueff Solar provided full owner’s representative development services for two solar systems at the Sisters of Charity’s St. Joseph House affordable housing property. To maximize the rooftop’s capacity, the 293.6 kW installation includes a net-metered system that offsets the building’s common area load and a community solar array that delivers benefits directly to tenants. Through strategic planning, the project reduces operating expenses for the Sisters of Charity while providing long-term electricity bill savings for residents. The community solar component offers tenants discounted energy and ensures alignment with federal low-income solar incentives. This project demonstrates how multifamily properties can go beyond offsetting common areas to fully monetize available roof space and extend savings to residents.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Completed in 2024, Lemle & Wolff Companies engaged Crauderueff Solar to develop solar installations at their 9–21 Sherman Avenue multifamily property in Inwood, Manhattan. The project includes a 50 kW system serving the building’s common areas and a 7.6 kW super-unit array, designed to offset energy costs and improve long-term operational efficiency. Leveraging federal and state programs, including the 30% Investment Tax Credit, a 10% Category 1 bonus credit, NY-Sun incentives, and the NYC Property Tax Abatement, the project delivers strong financial returns and advances Lemle & Wolff’s commitment to sustainable property management.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The town of Lyndhurst was interested in engaging in a PPA to save on bills for their municipal buildings. Unfortunately, an untrustworthy contractor had previously installed a rooftop system which compromised the integrity of their rooftop and then skipped town. Left with a massive problem, Lyndhurst engaged with a development company to remove the rooftop system and repurpose the materials into carport canopies. Crauderueff leadership was engaged to install a mesh communications network, to ensure monitoring data from all seven canopies could be pulled on a quarter second basis without having to trench between all the canopies. Sited at the town of Lyndhurst NJ’s recreation center, this 444kW DC canopy system is structured as a PPA to offset municipal electric bills and was installed in 2018. *Work completed prior to Crauderueff Solar</image:caption>

<image:caption>The town of Croton-on-Hudson has been a leader in renewable energy initiatives and approached Crauderueff leadership about installing a community solar array on the rooftop of their department of public works building. This 301kW DC community solar system was installed in 2020. We handled contract negotiation, design & engineering, interconnection, permitting, roof work coordination, installation, underwriting, O&M, and prioritizing subscribers who were local and low-income residents. The system is subscribed to by 45 utility accounts, who all see a reduction in their electric bills through supporting local clean power generation. Upfront reroof work was conducted prior to installation to ensure the building would need minimal maintenance during the tenure of the solar installation and underwriting could be accomplished in a smooth and efficient manner. In addition to receiving bill credits through the community solar, the town receives an annual lease payment for the right to utilize their unused roof space. *Work completed prior to Crauderueff Solar</image:caption>
